HAYAT is a 501(C)3 non-profit organization founded in Dauphin County.

VISION

Together, we can make a difference in the fight against homelessness. Supporting local shelters, volunteering, and advocating for policies that address housing insecurity are impactful ways to contribute. Let’s work toward a more compassionate and equitable society!

MISSION

To prevent and end homelessness in Central Pennsylvania. We believe ending homelessness is possible and that homelessness in Central Pennsylvania will become rare, brief, and non-recurring. We believe in the Right to Housing – everybody have the Right to a safe, decent, permanent, and affordable home with the support necessary to sustain it.

Goal

To create lasting solutions and eradicate homelessness. We can achieve this through data-driven strategies, and collaboration with local partners
